An ode to the icosahedral virus

....because that's what it is ladies. It's an icosahedral virion (like, say, human papillomavirus, if I must pick just one).
Wha?? (you say).
From wikipedia: "Viral structures are built of repeated identical protein subunits and the icosahedron is the easiest shape to assemble using these subunits." It's quite beautiful actually, the simplicity of it.
